occasione del concerto di Vasco Rossi il 20 maggio 2022, D-Flight ha messo a
disposizione dell’organizzazione il “<em>Drone Detection System</em>”, il sistema
per il tracciamento e monitoraggio droni in grado di verificare sull’intera area
destinata all’evento, eventuali incursioni di mezzi a pilotaggio remoto per i
quali è stata prevista una No Fly Zone.</p>



<p>D-Flight,
in collaborazione con Nital Spa, dealer ufficiale DjI
in Italia, specializzata in sistemi entrerprise, è in grado di
monitorare infatti i movimenti dei droni, distinguendo i voli autorizzati da
quelli non autorizzati e determinando una pronta comunicazione alle forze
dell’ordine per le eventuali azioni di sanzione e sequestro dei mezzi
segnalati.</p>



<p>Questo
sofisticato apparato consente di individuare con alta precisione anche i più
piccoli monorotori in volo a chilometri di distanza e di conoscerne una serie
di informazioni per valutarne l’eventuale pericolosità. </p>



<p>Il
sistema, dotato di antenne e apparati, è stato in grado di rilevare informazioni
di più droni intercettati: marca e modello, numero di serie, nome del
proprietario, posizione del pilota con relative coordinate di decollo, rotta di
volo, posizione, direzione, altitudine e velocità. </p>



<p>Sotto
la supervisione tecnica di <strong>Cristiano Baldoni</strong>, <em>Head of Business System
Integration</em> di D-Flight, il <em>Drone Dection System</em> opera come attività
di prevenzione e controllo per una rapida e proficua collaborazione con tutti
gli enti preposti alla sicurezza dell’evento.</p>



<p>L’intervento
di ENAV e D-Flight, impegnate nelle attività di controllo, ha l’obiettivo di
garantire con questo sistema corretto e sicuro svolgimento della
manifestazione, a tutela del pubblico e degli addetti ai lavori, evitando
rischi connessi ad eventuali elusioni della No Fly Zone istituita per
l’occasione, mirando al raggiungimento dei massimi livelli di <em>safety e </em>permettendo
una attenta attività di prevenzione per l’intera durata del concerto.</p>



<p>Lo
sviluppo dell’impiego dei droni, nella logistica, nel trasporto di strumenti
medicali, nell’osservazione del territorio e delle infrastrutture critiche,
fino al futuro prossimo della mobilità aerea urbana, rappresenta uno degli
elementi cardine della transizione digitale ed ecologica. </p>



<p>D-Flight
è impegnata in questo senso a sostenere l’impiego sicuro e consapevole di
questi mezzi, garantendo una gamma di servizi utili a soddisfare la costante
crescita del mondo <em>unmanned.</em></p>



<p>L’attività
di monitoraggio e controllo promossa ad Imola rappresenta l’inizio di un
percorso più ampio e completo, volto a garantire il rispetto della normativa
vigente e creare un sistema di regole certe alla base dell’evoluzione del

<p>Skygate, the goal is to create an aeronautical hub for the urban air mobility of the future.</p>



<p>This is the first Digital Twin dedicated to Urban Area Mobility (Uam). The project, thanks to the partnership with ENAV, Turin Airport and the Politecnico di Torino, aims to open the first vertiport for vertical take-off and landing aircrafts.</p>



<p>It is the first time in air transport that a new system can be tested entirely using simulation tools that allow a complete assessment of the impact on the territory, starting from urban and not just technical implications.</p>



<p class="translation-block">Enav, with the <strong>D-Flight</strong> for the drones part, will provide - within the SkyGate Digital Twin - the guidelines to ensure coordination between traditional air traffic and low-altitude traffic, typical of Urban Air Mobility, testing a first integrated Atm (Air Traffic Management) model that guarantees the safety of all flight operations even with high traffic volumes. The prototype of a traditional airport hub integrated with Urban Air Mobility traffic will be tested with Turin Airport. The mechanics of flight will be simulated with the Aeronautical and Space Engineering Department of the Politecnico di Torino.</p>



<p>It is estimated that, by 2035, flying worldwide there will be over 35.000 electric vertical take-off and landing aircrafts for passenger transport, and hundreds of thousands of drones in an urban mobility market that is estimated to reach 70 billion euros.</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p class="translation-block">Rome, February 12, 2021 - Leonardo continues to experiment with drones in the field of "<em>Advanced Air Mobility</em>", with the aim of accelerating the introduction of these aircraft into the skies and contributing, starting from Italy, to the development of innovative services to support citizens. In detail, the company, in collaboration with the Municipality of Turin and with D-Flight (a company of the ENAV group, in partnership with Leonardo and Telespazio), has launched a series of tests, authorized by ENAC (National Civil Aviation Authority), to transport a load of 25 kg with an electrically-powered drone weighing 130 kg.</p>



<p class="translation-block">The project, called “<strong><em>Sumeri: Si Salpa!</em></strong>”, took place in Turin and is the first in Italy and among the first in the world to see a remote piloted system with these characteristics fly in an urban context. It represents a significant step towards a new model of air logistics transport and is part of a series of experiments that will allow, in perspective, to transport hundreds of kilos on routes up to 50 km with aircraft control modes beyond the line of sight of the pilot (Beyond Visual Line of Site - BVLOS).<br></p>

<p>&nbsp;<br>The demonstration also saw the use of the D-Flight platform, which in addition to the QR code registration and release services, experimented with mission planning and pilot position activation applications via mobile app, showing once again efficiency, innovation and a real capacity to respond to future European regulations on U-Space, the airspace dedicated to unmanned aircraft. D-Flight, also testing its contribution on vehicles weighing over 25 kg, confirms itself as one of the first operational U-Space platforms in Europe, thanks to which traditional aviation and remotely piloted aircraft will be able to coexist in the airspace.
