Rome, 8 November 2022 – D-Flight participates at the eighth edition of the Roma Drone Conference, the event dedicated to the world of drones in which particular attention is paid to the growth momentum of the Unmanned market and to the various articulations of this sector.
The day, divided into two moments of discussion between the institutions and the major stakeholders in the sector, yes opens with institutional greetings held among others by Maurizio Paggetti, COO of ENAV and Chief Executive Officer of D-Flight, with a broad overview of how D-Flight and the ENAV Group are working for the safe integration of drones in the world of traditional aviation and how the sector can guarantee a radical change for a new advanced air mobility.
Roundtable activities dedicated to the budget and prospects of Italy for drones, see this D-Flight with Business System Integration manager, Cristiano Baldoni who showed the status of the platform dedicated to creation of U-Space in Italy, the airspace reserved for drones, with specific references to the services present and to the various tools useful for planning of flight missions for an increasingly stable and updated geo-awareness of the means in use.
Ample prominence has been given to session dedicated to the use of drones in the transport of biomedical material e healthcare, an area in which experimentation is rapidly evolving. Luigi Brucculeri, Head of Research & Innovation at D-Flight, presents the experiences and activities managed in this specific area in which the platform has lent its contribution to the planning actions and flight tracking even beyond the line of sight, the so-called flight in BVLOS.
The conference represents a important moment of confrontation between the actors who are investing in a sector in continuous technological evolution able to offer new solutions with added value in the most disparate fields of action, from the monitoring of infrastructure to the environmental one to move on to rescue activities, offering a more efficient and sustainable future for the country system.
